1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute an agreement between you and GovSource Public Safety LLC, which operates Officer Test Prep (“Officer Test Prep,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing, registering for, purchasing, subscribing to, or using OfficerTestPrep.com or related Officer Test Prep services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

Officer Test Prep is intended for education, career development, professional preparation, law enforcement testing, corrections testing, academy preparation, certification preparation, promotional preparation, and related public safety purposes.

Officer Test Prep is not intended for children under 13 years of age. You may not create an account if you are under 13.

If you are between age 13 and the age at which you may legally enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction, you may use Officer Test Prep only with the appropriate permission of a parent or legal guardian.

By using Officer Test Prep, you represent that you are legally permitted to use the platform and that your use complies with applicable law.

3. Accounts and Account Security

Certain Officer Test Prep features require a user account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete registration information and to update that information when necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password, authentication methods, and account credentials.

• Do not share your login credentials with another person.
• Do not allow another person to use your account.
• Notify Officer Test Prep if you believe your account has been compromised.
• Use multi-factor authentication where required or available.
• Maintain accurate account and contact information.

4. Educational and Preparation Use

Officer Test Prep is an educational exam-preparation and testing platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, our practice tests, diagnostic assessments, analytics, study roadmaps, instructional content, and other preparation materials are intended for education and professional development.

Officer Test Prep does not administer official state certification examinations, civil service examinations, promotional examinations, licensing examinations, or hiring examinations unless expressly identified as part of a specific contracted service.

Users remain responsible for reviewing all official announcements, study guides, policies, statutes, procedures, reading lists, curriculum, testing instructions, and other requirements issued by the applicable agency, academy, certification authority, licensing authority, employer, or testing organization.

5. Acceptable Use

Officer Test Prep may be used only for lawful and legitimate educational, professional, training, testing, and career-development purposes.

Permitted uses may include:

• Law enforcement entrance exam preparation
• Corrections entrance exam preparation
• Police academy and corrections academy preparation
• State certification examination preparation
• Florida SOCE preparation
• Equivalency of Training preparation
• Promotional examination preparation
• Diagnostic and readiness testing
• Professional development
• Agency testing and assessment services

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use Officer Test Prep to:

• Share, resell, distribute, or republish examination content without authorization.
• Copy or compile Officer Test Prep questions into another testing platform.
• Create or enhance a competing exam-preparation product using Officer Test Prep materials.
• Use bots, crawlers, scraping tools, automated extraction tools, or similar technology without authorization.
• Attempt to discover, reverse engineer, or reconstruct protected question banks.
• Share login credentials or permit unauthorized account access.
• Attempt to bypass subscription, payment, access-control, or security restrictions.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user’s account.
• Upload malware, harmful code, viruses, or malicious files.
• Interfere with platform availability, examination delivery, or security.
• Upload confidential, classified, controlled, law-enforcement-sensitive, or unauthorized material.
• Use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful activity.

7. Practice Exams, Diagnostics, and Testing

Officer Test Prep may provide practice examinations, diagnostic assessments, quizzes, subject-area tests, academy preparation, certification preparation, promotional preparation, and customized examinations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Officer Test Prep examination questions are independently developed for preparation purposes and are not actual secured questions from an official governmental, agency, licensing, certification, civil service, academy, or employment examination.

Test format, terminology, curriculum, policies, and examination content may change. Officer Test Prep does not guarantee that every practice question, subject, format, or topic will appear on a user’s actual examination.

8. Scores, Diagnostics, and Performance Results

Officer Test Prep may calculate and display scores, percentages, subject-area performance, diagnostic results, readiness indicators, study recommendations, progress information, and personalized study roadmaps.

No score, diagnostic result, roadmap, or practice performance guarantees success on an official examination.

9. Purchases and Payment

Officer Test Prep may offer paid courses, practice examinations, diagnostic programs, subscriptions, customized preparation services, agency services, or other paid offerings.

You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information and authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the displayed amount associated with your purchase.

Prices, features, course access periods, and available programs may change from time to time.

Payment transactions may be processed through independent third-party payment providers. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.

10. Subscriptions, Access Periods, and Renewals

Certain Officer Test Prep services may be offered for a fixed access period, recurring subscription, agency license, or other defined term.

Where recurring billing applies, the applicable pricing and renewal terms will be disclosed before purchase.

Access to a course, test bank, diagnostic program, or preparation product may expire at the end of the applicable access period.

Cancellation of a recurring subscription does not necessarily create a right to refund previously processed charges unless required by law or stated in the applicable purchase terms.

11. Uploaded Study Materials and Documents

Certain Officer Test Prep services may permit candidates, agencies, academies, or authorized customers to upload or provide study materials, policies, procedures, reading lists, curriculum, training documents, or other materials for customized preparation services.

You represent that you have the authority and necessary rights to provide any materials you submit.

Submitted materials may be used as reasonably necessary to:

• Develop customized practice examinations
• Create diagnostic assessments
• Prepare study roadmaps
• Develop subject-area analytics
• Provide customized candidate preparation
• Support agency or enterprise testing engagements

12. Agency and Enterprise Services

Officer Test Prep may provide customized testing, examination development, preparation, diagnostic, assessment, reporting, or enterprise services to law enforcement agencies, corrections agencies, academies, training organizations, governmental entities, and other public safety customers.

Where Officer Test Prep provides services under a separate agency, governmental, or enterprise agreement, that agreement may include additional provisions governing:

• Candidate or employee information
• Examination results
• Agency-provided source materials
• Confidential examination materials
• Authorized access
• Retention requirements
• Data security requirements
• Ownership and permitted use of customized materials
• Scoring and reporting

Any applicable written agreement may supplement or modify these Terms with respect to the specific contracted service.

13. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Tools

Officer Test Prep may use artificial intelligence or automated technologies to assist with functions such as:

• Generating or organizing practice content
• Analyzing examination performance
• Identifying knowledge gaps
• Developing study recommendations
• Supporting customized examination development
• Reviewing question quality and language
• Improving administrative efficiency

AI-generated or automated output may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies and should be reviewed appropriately.

14. Third-Party Websites and Services

Officer Test Prep may link to agencies, sheriff’s offices, police departments, state certification authorities, academies, testing organizations, educational providers, payment processors, and other third-party services.

We do not control independent third-party websites or services and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, privacy practices, products, or services.

15. Intellectual Property

Officer Test Prep branding, logos, website design, examination questions, question banks, explanations, study guides, analytics, software, diagnostic systems, study roadmaps, graphics, written materials, databases, and other original content are owned by GovSource Public Safety LLC or used under appropriate license.

Unless expressly authorized, you may not reproduce, distribute, download for redistribution, republish, sell, sublicense, modify, reverse engineer, commercially exploit, or create derivative examination products using Officer Test Prep materials.

Purchasing or subscribing to Officer Test Prep provides a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access the applicable service during the authorized access period.

16. Platform and Examination Security

Users may not attempt to defeat, bypass, disable, manipulate, interfere with, or probe security controls, testing restrictions, authentication systems, access limitations, or examination protections.

Officer Test Prep may use monitoring, technical controls, access records, security logs, examination activity records, and other reasonable measures to protect accounts, examination content, intellectual property, and platform integrity.

17. Monitoring and Enforcement

Officer Test Prep may review activity or content where reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these Terms, maintain platform security, protect examination content, investigate suspected misuse, respond to complaints, or comply with legal requirements.

Officer Test Prep may:

• Restrict access to examination content.
• Limit or suspend account access.
• Invalidate unauthorized access.
• Remove improperly uploaded materials.
• Investigate unusual testing or account activity.
• Terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Refer potentially unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities.

18. Suspension and Termination

Officer Test Prep may suspend, restrict, or terminate access where we reasonably believe a user has violated these Terms, compromised security, shared an account, improperly copied examination content, committed fraud, misused the platform, or engaged in unlawful conduct.

Officer Test Prep may also modify, suspend, discontinue, replace, or update features, testing products, question banks, courses, services, or availability.

19. Disclaimers

Officer Test Prep is an independent exam-preparation and testing platform.

Unless expressly stated in a specific written agreement, Officer Test Prep is not affiliated with, endorsed by, approved by, or acting on behalf of any state licensing authority, criminal justice commission, law enforcement agency, corrections agency, academy, civil service authority, government employer, or testing vendor.

Officer Test Prep does not guarantee:

• Passing any examination
• Certification or licensure
• Admission to an academy
• Employment or appointment
• Promotion
• Interview selection
• Specific examination questions or content
• A particular score or ranking

Officer Test Prep services are provided on an “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GovSource Public Safety LLC and Officer Test Prep will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use Officer Test Prep.

This includes losses associated with examination performance, hiring opportunities, certification outcomes, licensing decisions, promotional decisions, employment decisions, study decisions, third-party services, unauthorized access beyond our reasonable control, or reliance upon educational preparation materials.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless GovSource Public Safety LLC, Officer Test Prep, and their officers, employees, contractors, and agents from claims arising from your misuse of Officer Test Prep, violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, unauthorized submission of materials, or infringement of another person’s rights.

22. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to Officer Test Prep shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law is required to apply.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal action or proceeding arising from these Terms or use of Officer Test Prep shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Florida, unless the parties have entered into a separate written agreement providing otherwise.

23. Changes to These Terms

Officer Test Prep may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in services, technology, legal requirements, examination products, business practices, or platform functionality.

The Effective Date displayed at the top of this page identifies the most recent version.

Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.

24. Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Failure by Officer Test Prep or GovSource Public Safety LLC to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive the right to enforce that provision later.
